Finally after so long the month of september is here.
This year seems to be going by not fast yet not slow..
Been going on course for the past 2mths?...gee...so busy lor..
Busy till i dun even have time to update my blog cause over the
weekends, its party time and time for my little boi.

but right now i am having a little trouble..
STORY:

I was born on the 26th september 2007.
I had my 1st birthday last year with daddy though he adopted me
just a few days before my birthday and i was very happy cause i
remember having a large strawberry cake all for by myself.
But this year is a disaster...I overheard daddy saying that he
dunno what to do for my birthday!!!

Someone please advise the stupid old man what can be done for a loveable dog.
Haiz~...Its been running throug hmy mind the past few weeks and i keep
whining to remind daddy that i am always around him and he must start to think....
Haiz~...Please get him to organise a dog party so i can have many friends to celebrate
with me.
*I am kinda alpha male i have to say.
But i will try to be nice..

Seriously have not been having much time to update onto my blog and in these 2months to come,will still not have that much time as i am now on course and booking out is only on every Saturday afternoon with the book in to be on Sunday night..Duhz

However today i must update this blog else it will really be dead and no one will bother to read through it again!!

Mellow boi has been getting along real well being in my house these past few months...been bringing him out to many dog outings and catch up with lots of his doggie friends however it must be warned now that he is a very dominant male.

He growls at other male dogs!!
He growls at me when he smells me touching and carrying other dogs!!
He snaps when other male dogs approach!!

OMG...Look at him...

Here we are at this year SKC dog show held over at expo again..(17th May 09)
Daddy and mummy woke up around 11+ and thus i could not get myself registered to go play games!!...

Grrrr.... but its ok as i enjoyed myseld there when i met some old friends whom i nv seen for a long time and also some new friends whom i heard but then nv got a chance to meet them..

Just now heard daddy telling mummy that he is being posted to another camp but is still near home...hehe...at least like that daddy will not need to come back late and can spend time with me!!

Grrrr!!!...i hate to clean my ears lor...Dun understand why daddy always want to do this to me..then i got no choice but to growl and try to bite in order for daddy to stop...Sorry daddy but then the liquid gets into my ear and its so ticklish and then its like making my ear so wet!!

Ok...guess i never blog for such a long time already that i have so much to write but then daddy has STM lor...always forget so many things..

What a day it has been, Got up early morning to prepare the things needed for little boi to bring along on his trip to meet his friends , Snowy and Kiki...
Reached Bishan Dog Run around 12:30 pm and there were not much doggies inside but then mellow boy sure did not care so much as all he wanted was to run and dig as much holes as he can!!!...

Its been quite sometime since we last had an outing to the Dog Runs..
But now he finally got to go again,i can tell how happy he is..lol...

Btw, we did something stupid together where we left the 3 little ones inside the dog run by themselves to see how they respond when we are not around and hide somewhere.. haha...

Not been updating so regularly as been so busy lately..haha
So much changes, including my work hours too....lol...now working 8 - 5, monday to friday..omg..
Got to get up early every day then drag myself to go take the bus..
But lucky thing is at least my camp is nearer to my house than my previous camp..

Lets see...some updates on little mellow boi..
Brought him over to see his old pal, Sai sai Lup the other day and it was horrible i would say.
They seemed to have turned into arch enemy and the mere sight of either of them would ignite the other to bark and charge..Haiz~... How could such good friends that stayed together and eat together and play together turn out to become like that..

Been reading up on lots of books on how i can break this barrier between them and also how i can help mellow boi to overcome his obsession with shadows and moving objects...haha
Every night he would pace the whole house like a busy business man...chasing after shadows and licking the floor..

Its the last day of 2008 and what can i say but i just got t ogo out to enjoy this last day of the year.
2008 pass by so quickly and lots of things happened during this year,happy and unhappiness are just moments in life that makes it more and more interesting.

Foods that you thought were sensible for your doggie may turn out to be harmful instead. Have a read at the list below (source: PetEducation) to learn more:

Baby food - Can result in nutritional deficiencies, if fed in large amounts.
Bones from fish, poultry, or other meat sources - Can cause obstruction or laceration of the digestive system.

Cat food - Generally too high in protein and fats.

Chocolate, coffee, tea, and other caffeine - Contain caffeine, theobromine, or theophylline, which can be toxic and affect the heart and nervous systems.

Citrus oil extracts - Can cause vomiting.

Fat trimmings - Can cause pancreatitis.

Grapes and raisins - Contain an unknown toxin, which can damage the kidneys. There have been no problems associated with grape seed extract.

Human vitamin supplements containing iron - Can damage the lining of the digestive system and be toxic to the other organs including the liver and kidneys.

Liver in large amounts - Can cause Vitamin A toxicity, which affects muscles and bones.

Macadamia nuts - Contain an unknown toxin, which can affect the digestive and nervous systems and muscle.

Milk and other dairy products - Some adult dogs and cats do not have sufficient amounts of the enzyme lactase, which breaks down the lactose in milk. This can result in diarrhea. Lactose-free milk products are available for pets.

Mushrooms - Can contain toxins, which may affect multiple systems in the body, cause shock, and result in death.

Onions and garlic (raw, cooked, or powder) - Contain sulfoxides and disulfides, which can damage red blood cells and cause anaemia. Cats are more susceptible than dogs. Garlic is less toxic than onions.

Persimmons - Seeds can cause intestinal obstruction and enteritis.

Raw eggs - Contain an enzyme called avidin, which decreases the absorption of biotin (a B vitamin). This can lead to skin and hair coat problems. Raw eggs may also contain Salmonella.

Raw fish - Can result in a thiamine (a B vitamin) deficiency leading to loss of appetite, seizures, and in severe cases, death. More common if raw fish is fed regularly.

Celebrated for dear her birthday last night at Jurong Canal.
It was supposed to be a surprise party where i invited all her friends down to celebrate together with her but unfortunately the weather did not play us any good. It keep drizzling through the evening and in the end everywhere was so wet.
But in the end the celebration still went on as its a celebration and it cannot be canceled to any other dates one..haha..

Went to the market early in the morning and bought the food for tml's birthday party.
So little things in the market i realise and the amount of people there ain't that much...haha...but in the end got only prawns,hot dogs and some fish balls from the market as all the other things were too expensive, just when i thought economy has turn better but instead market still selling so expensive.

At the same time gotten some pig shoulder joints for the 2 little bois!!..omg...its $6/kg for the meat..haha...but they sure enjoyed themselves biting onto those delivious meat. but sadly i never take any picture while they eating..:(

But fret not there are still some lovely pictures of them over the past few days.

Today is Jason and Sharon's big day and we have been busy helping them to get all the preparations done for the past few weeks...Buying clothes and getting all the seating arrangements done.
Has been so tiring yet also a very fulfilling job done when all was over.

Its been sometime since my last update..
Was kind of busy and thus no time to come online and sit infront to type so much things.

Lets see what i missed out on updating...hmmm...
Yea...yesterday dear dear's off day so she spent the night over and the next morning we went out to play basketball...Yea...its been quite some time that she had really enjoy herself and exercising already...hehe...
Not much ppl as usual over at the cc but still have some khaki to play the game and in the end i found out that i could still have so much more improvement in myself...haiz...Can't reach the professional stage yet though...

After basketball we went home and prepared dinner, Home cooked food by Dear's mummy and had our dinner before we went over to my place to get my shower and off to Jurong Hill we went..
Dear has become addicted to prawning and this time round we sure had a better catch...a total of 28 prawns we got...though its not alot but for us its already a job well done..hehe..
Not only had we have prawns to eat but also alot of other food...yummy..

For those who are interested to join us, do let me know then on our next trip can organise a prawning session together...hehe..

Just celebrated with mummy her birthday yesterday...did not get her any gifts as we have bought her everything she needed and thus gave the money to daddy to decide what to get for her.
Women are like that, once you get them everything they want you would not know whats the next best thing for them already and thus was really at a loss of what to get..hehe.. :)

Tomorrow morning got to wake up early again...haiz~...hopefully everything would be ok else i think i would have to be missing out on so much fun and no more time to spend with my little boy..

Dear dear, i think by the time you read this, the results should be out already and i hope whatever it is,you would be able to take it in your stride..
N level results are coming out too..i know you would do your best and you would get good grades too..Don't go worrying about how you fare now till the day ok,cause there is nothing that you can do now also...just live life to the fullest...and remember that i will always love you...muack!!

Saw some video clips on those poor little ones being abandoned by their heartless owners where they would just throw them out of the house and leave them to fend for themselves.
What kind of people are out there to do such things!..The least they could do was at least send them to the dog shelter or what but leaving them out there to contract diseases and sickness and left to die with no one to care about..

The more i see these videos the more my ambition starts to grow to help all these needy people and animals. haiz~... I want to be rich to adopt every single one of them out there. I rather shower them with love,care and concern as long as they are around in this world. They are all just like us except for the fact they can't complain to their owners that they need the love. Haiz~...

Those irresponsible people out there, if you happen to stumble upon my blog, i sincerely curse you for doing that to your pets.

Let the world be a nice and safe place for them, please let them have a happy life.
Though i know many are not rich but the least you could do for them is give them a shelter from the rain and sun and food to eat..

Nothing much to update lately, mellow has start to tone down alittle since i started to watch cesar milan, the dog whisperer on youtube.com and also bough a copy of his book as recommended by fellow SPCians.

Wait till i finish the book then i give my review on it but thus far it has been very interesting to read. Life been the same with not much changes..just got to wait for the 1st December for the results!..omg..how worrying can it be..

West Coast Dog Run, 16/11/08

Haha...after so many days and weeks of planning,the day is finally here..
Few more hours and off i go to West Coast Dog Run..Going to be having a small gathering there with alot of other doggie friends..I am sure that its going to be fun...going to have lots of photo taking as well...

Yes, today was the day that mellow finally gets to go to the dog run for the very first time in his life..and its not going to be his last cause i will be planning to keep organizing more of this gatherings for everyone to come together irregardless of what dogs you have..

It was really great to see so many people turn up despite the weather turning bad and the ground condition to be terrible. Thanks for all the support guys and gals..

Today was also DoDo's Birthday!!!.....Happy Birthday DoDo!!!
She had a nice cake bought by her mummy at US. Doggie Bakery and it was really nice i would say...All the dogs and humans had a slice of the cake and i am sure they loved it...
Lots of food for humans and doggies but it was really not being eaten much as i guess everyone was busy camera whoring and having lots of chats!!...
Its just the kind of gathering where everyone gets to come together and spend the day with their beloved fur kids..Its just so much fun...I really appreciate the time everyone takes to come down for it...Stay tuned as i will be organizing more gathering in the near future if possible..

This little boy has been so dear and so sweet though at times he can really be so mischievous when no one is at home to play with him or talk to him. Even though Sai Sai lup is always at home with him but it seems like they will gang up together and turn the place upside down...pee on the papers,pee on the floor...clothings everywhere...take their pillows out of their 'house'...omg...its always a headache when i reach back home...lol

Mellow's dry kibbles are finishing soon and so is Sai Sai lup's but i not too worried about Sai Sai lup's one as his mother will handle it but mellow one is going to be a problem for me. Been thinking about it many days and lots of recommendation from people all around to tell me to switch to BARF but thinking of it in the long run,i may not be able to sustain it so much. Hence i think my final decision would be to switch his food to Pinnacle Peak Protein Formula Holistic Puppy/Adult Dog Food.

I know that going on dry kibbles are not that good so i decided to also give them 2 times a week of kibbles with canned food, 2 times a week of BARF.. Thats the very least i could do at least.
For those who do read my blog and have good advice for me, please do drop me comments so i can improve.
No money to send mellow for obedience courses now but will do so as soon as i save enough. He has this barking problem still and i am doing lots of read ups as to how i can really correct him on it. Slowly it seems like its improving but then everytime i not around, my gf and her sis would say that he is still the same. Keeps barking at people who walk by or sometimes even bark for nothing. Haiz~...My little boi really makes daddy do lots of reading now. Haha..

Some update on today...
Morning just pass by so fast and the next thing i knew its was already afternoon and off i went over to dear's house to look at the two little naughty boys...hehe

As usual, they welcomed me with such great enthusiasm...lol.. and also i gotten some stuffs for this coming saturday outing to West Coast Dog Run

Today the 10th November 2008..
Once again the day goes by very fast with nothing much to do once again...

Never been updating the past few days as there has not been anything much to update on...Just bathed for mellow yesterday and he smells so nice after his bathe and his fur felt so soft and nice..hehe..

Each day i see these 2 little ones, my heart always feel so happy as they are just like small kids that wants people to play with them and hold them in your arms..
That is why i love dogs so much..though at the end of 10 or 15 yrs you will get teh heart ache and the feeling of losing someone so dear but then throughout the years these animals have spent their best and enjoyable times with you...

Nothing much to do update today..

Woke up around 1:30 today after last night game of Dota with WJ and his friends...
Woke up and no one home again so off i went to watch my tv and explored the net as usual.
After that around 4+, went to the market and bought vegetables worth of $36.90...its a supply for about a week or so..hehe..

Reached dear's house and mellow and sai sai lup was there to greet me as usual...Each time go over, would feel great as its like your own kids receiving you when you come home!..

After that was done,had my lunch then cleaned up the place and off i went to play basketball at HKE Cc..
Lots of people today at the CC and its getting more and more fun each day as starting to play ball like before where all the aggressive plays and serious play come in..
Not that the usual play is not fun or what but then being able to play more contact ball like being in competition is more fun and exciting to play.

But though having to play more competitive and aggressive, i flew from the air to the ground today after a clash with a friend..Just tussling for a loose ball can be so fierce just like in competition...haha..But all is fine..and best of all there was no more elbow dislocation...lol

After bballing, went to 427 with paul,kelvin,wan ling,nigel and johnson(who came later) to have a chat.Talked so many things from army life to government to basketball...haha..It has been a long long time since i last went back to 427 there to sit down and chat with friends..

Then its back to dear's home to cook dinner..hehe...
Today's menu is:

Fried egg with tomato and cucumber..

Today has been quite a meaningless day....

Did nothing much but woke up very early around 8+ and after that
was out to geylang first as daddy and mummy just bought a new chair
but then the back of the chair made of lousy quality then in the end the
things broke!!!...

Quite a fast journey down but i got to say the roads in geylang is insane
in the day and freaky at night..the cars and bike keep zooming past as
though they are the only vehicles on the road and nearly knocked into us...
Luckily daddy been driving for over 30 years already..so he more or less
able to avoid the cars and bikes..

Reached the place but then its not open,daddy went down to have a look
and it says "Opening hours : 1100hrs onwards...
Haiz~...

After that went down to city to look for someone who could help me with
my fate...news was not that good and all thats left is the holy man...
Haiz~...Hopefully the holy man can help me out and soon i will be back like
ever again...

Dear dear has been working and working non-stop the past few weeks,seeing
her so tired,i wish i can help her but right now i can't...

Dear Dear, Do get more rest..though we don't get to see each other as much as
before but our love will keep getting stronger and stronger each day.....

Been looking out for a doggy house for my little boi but thus far everything either seems to be too ex or jsut not the right size for him.,,
Who ask him to be so big size than normal jack russell la...lol

Another day pass just like that as i await that final day to come..be it good or bad,i guess i just have to accept it nonetheless...But of course i hope i can find a good solution to it...haiz~

After so long, finally got to taste what pizza hut's pizza tasted like today...
Woke up around 3+ then after that slacked at home till around 4+ then went down to the sports complex there for pizza with dear..

Few more hours and i will be going down to the dog show already...its the last big dog event of the year and i am sure to see many many dogs over there...haha..

Kinda excited as i will be going down with my dear and my precious little boi along with lots of friends..

Will try to take as much pictures as i can if i can find my camera out..
Just for tml,i will be renting a vehicle..no choice lor,cause many people then also dun want to get the car all dirty and filled with dog furs nad later get a nagging from my dad again...lol..
